Review: Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner

Hello beauties :)

So I normally use the same liquid eyeliner but I wanted to try a new form of eyeliner. I went online and was looking at different felt tip liner's and I noticed that there was alot of positive feedback for Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner and to be honest I was kind of skeptical because of the price but at the same time I thought I might as well try it for 2.99!

So the cheap price made me skeptical because I have tried a few expensive felt tip liners before and they were rubbish! The felt tips would quickly run out, wouldn't draw over my eyeshadow and was more light grey than black. But then I bought Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner!!!!

Swatches: Thin line and thick line.

I got home and applied it with doubt but I was so shocked and pleasantly surprised! It is really pigmented, not a faded grey color like some others that I have tried but very black.

Wearing Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner.

I thought it would be quite hard to do a thin line because the tip looks quite thick but actually it was very easy to control. Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner has made me put my everyday liquid eyeliner that I have been using for 5 years away to one side. It is just so much better and saves time because you don't have to keep going back to the liner pot for more product. Also the staying power is really good, I wore Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner from 6am until 7pm and it didn't flake off, didn't fade in color nor did it smudge. It is really easy to remove just use a cotton wipe and any eye makeup remover, I use Simple kind to eyes eye makeup remover. The only problem I have with Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner is if you do a mistake and you go to wipe it, it will smudge just like a felt tip pen would do on paper when wiped. So if your prone to making mistakes I would probably apply it before doing foundation and eyeshadow so that if it did smudge after wiping it then you wouldn't be wiping off any other makeup that you have already applied.

But overall I do actually really like this product, It's my new everyday eyeliner. And the price is amazing!

I rate Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner a 4.5/5 :)

Review: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hello again beautiful people I'm back with another review :-)

So you've probably seen a lot of people raving about the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. Its a moisturising balm but with a pigmented lip stain.

Packaging and Price
So as you can see in the picture above its a cute pink chubby crayon. It doesn't need sharpening as it is retractable, you just simply twist the silver cap at the bottom of the crayon. I love the overall look of this product its very cute, girly and sophisticated. The price I paid  for Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain was £7.99

There are 12 shades of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. The shade I chose was 015 Cherish.

The Application
I was actually shocked at how pigmented it was, I thought that it would just be slightly pigmented as its a balm but the application of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain I'm glad to say proved me wrong :) One coat leaves a light but noticeable pink sheer look but it definitely is build able for a more pink pigmented glossy look and I do have quite pigmented lips to start with but its still really noticeable.

It has a peppermint scent when you first apply Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain but that goes in about 40 seconds. There is a cooling, slight tingly feeling for about 2 minutes but I think that's because of the peppermint. After that your lips feel smooth, soft and moisturising.

The glossiness lasts for about 3-4 hours but the pink stain lasts pretty much all day.

 After 2 coats.

Overall Rating
I absolutely love love this product as I don't tend to wear lipsticks because they dry out my already dried lips. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is the must have lip product I have been waiting for, a really pigmented balm stain that keeps lips moisturised :) What more could dry lips ask for? Say bye bye to only wearing a colourless chap stick and say hello to bright coloured moisturising balm!

I rate Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain a 5/5! It's my new holy grail, I will be buying more shades soon!

Have you tried Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain? What shades do you like best? Comment your thoughts :)

Review: Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation

Hello everyone :)

I made a little trip to my favorite shop Superdrug and picked out a couple things to try out, so the first product I will be reviewing from my shopping list is Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation so lets get started!

The shade I chose was Light Ivory 40, it has SPF 20.

It is a 3 in 1 liquid foundation
Primer
Concealer
Foundation

So first impressions!
It is a nice looking product very smart and sophisticated, the foundation is contained in a glass bottle with a plastic cap. It has a pump which is great because it gives you control of how much product comes out, also the pump has a twisting option, so if you twist it to the left that will disable the pumping function, twist it right and it will enable you to use the pump function. I think this is a great idea because if you lose the plastic cap you can still put it in your makeup bag or handbag and not worry about the foundation being accidentally pumped out while carrying it around during the day.

The foundation itself and the application!
The foundation is very light and creamy. I would say it is medium to build able full coverage. The drying time is good it doesn't dry too quickly so it gives you enough time to blend so you don't have to rush with it. It gives a matte finish but with slight dewy effect which makes you look very fresh faced. I have combination to oily skin. I wore the Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation from 7am-7.30pm and it controlled my oily T zone very well, it didn't look shiny at all, it stayed flawless and shine free all day and I only powdered once in the morning after applying the foundation .

Overall!
I was thinking about what could be the downside to this foundation but I actually cant think of a downside, it basically has everything you want in a foundation
Lightweight formula
Pump and twist function
Good coverage
Good drying time
Controls oils
Nice packaging
Worth the money
What more could you want in a foundation?

I rate Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation 5/5. Thumbs up!

Do you agree? Have you tried this product yet or thinking about trying it? Hope I helped. Comment your views :)

Review: Revlon ColorStay Foundation 24hrs

Hello again!

I'm back with another review, I decided to give a review on the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation for oily/combination skin. So this isn't a new product but I only bought this foundation a couple of months ago because I tended to stick with the same things but as Im getting older I am getting more adventurous and starting to play around with different makeup brands.Which is good because trying out more makeup brands and more products means I can write lots of reviews for you lovely people and you might just discover a product or brand that you never thought of trying :)

I chose the shade 110 Ivory which is the lightest shade and it was a perfect match! Which is great because my biggest problem with other foundations is that I can never find the right shade as they are either too orange looking or just too dark for my pale skin so I was really pleased about that.

I am a very girly girl so I like when the packaging looks nice and I must say I really like how the product looks, the foundation is contained in a sturdy glass bottle with a black twist cap. I think it looks very sleek and sophisticated. The only thing I don't like about the bottle is it doesn't have a pump which can make the bottle really messy (I cleaned the outside of the bottle for the sake of the picture) and not only that but it wastes a lot of product as you have less control of how much pours out onto the hand. I think its a bit more on the expensive side for high street products (£12.49 from superdrug) so I think it should at least come with a pump.

Now to the actual foundation and application!

The consistency is creamy and a little bit thick but still lightweight enough to slide down your hand. It has a paint like smell to it but it doesn't really bother me because you cant smell it when it goes on your face. It has great coverage for imperfections, the coverage is so good that when I wear this foundation I don't use under eye concealer and I never thought that would happen as I have always used concealer for my under eyes.

I apply the foundation with a beauty blender and it gives a nice flawless finish not cakey looking at all. I would say that it gives a little bit of a dewy fresh finish but not shiny. I do apply a translucent setting powder in the morning but this foundation really does a good job of controlling my oily T zone area as I would have to normally reapply the powder 2-3 times during the day because I look like an oily mess with blotches but with this foundation I don't have to reapply the powder during the day and it doesn't look shiny nor does it go blotchy :) The only down side to the application of Revlon ColorStay Foundation is that it does dry quickly so its better to do small amounts and not just apply it to the whole face as it wont blend.

I think the quality is very good for a high street brand, its my best foundation so far and worth the money.

I rate the Revlon ColorStay Foundation a 4/5

Have you tried Revlon ColorStay Foundation? What do you think? Do you agree or disagree?

Hope this review helped, please comment below and take care :)

Review: Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara

After trying many different mascaras i found that my eyelashes became quite dried out. And i would find that whilst cleaning off the mascara my eyelashes were so weak that they would just break off, overtime they have become quite short and wont grow.

So I thought right this is not good and so I went on a mission to find a mascara that would be less drying but still gives great length. After looking at many mascaras Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara caught my eye.

The Mascara was £7.99 from Superdrug, and it states 'Advanced, ultra lengthening formula for beautiful long, remarkably strong lashes' with Avec grow.

I applied two coats of Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara to the left eye and wow look at the difference, you can see the length it gives after only two coats! Normally with other mascaras I have to apply more than 4 coats to get the length I want but not with this mascara.

So we know the lengthening works but what about the Avec grow and the strengthening formula?

Well I can definitely say that my lashes feel alot healthier and stronger and my lashes don't seem to break off anymore whilst removing the product, I also feel that my lashes have started to grow since using the product which I purchased roughly about 3 weeks ago.

Also unlike other mascaras that I have tried Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara doesn't create a black smudge under my lower lash line during the day which is great, the only downside that I can think of is that its not waterproof.

So they are my thoughts and opinions, I am going to rate Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara a 4.5/5

Its my new holey grail product :)
Well done Rimmel London!
Its a must buy product!
